In his almost 28 years of law practice centered in Pemberville, Perrysburg and Bowling Green, Doug has handled nearly every type of case heard in the Wood County Probate and Juvenile Court. He is experienced in probate and estate planning, trust and estate litigation, real estate and business law and land use, including zoning and agricultural law.

He has handled countless cases in Probate Court, including estates, guardianships, adoptions, legal name changes, wrongful death hearings and trust/estate litigation. In Juvenile Court, Doug has represented youth and families in custody, child support and delinquency matters and frequently litigated subpoena and privilege issues in abuse/dependency and neglect cases.

Doug has represented local governments by serving as a Village Solicitor in Luckey, OH, for several years, and as the Village Solicitor for Gibsonburg, OH, for the last 16 years.
