About Doug
Doug has practiced law in NW Ohio for almost 28 years, and handled cases in 18 different counties. He's also practiced in federal court in Toledo, OH and Grand Rapids, MI and is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court.
Doug is a father of three, an Eagle Scout, and the father of three Eagle Scouts—Tyler, Holden, and Carys. He's a lifelong scouter and leader who strongly believes in the Scout Oath's "duty to God and Country." Doug's wife Lisa, a kindergarten teacher, also has been a 4H advisor, youth coach and youth music director. The Rucks have a special passion and concern for youth as evidenced by their many youth-focused community activities.
Doug enjoys running, hiking, and spending time outdoors.
